Subscribing and canceling
- Renews on its own every month, or every year, by credit card. Payment goes through Stripe: GGspeak never sees your card number.
- Cancel anytime in Settings · GG+, with no fee. GG+ keeps going until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- 14 days to change your mind: on your first subscription, you can back out within 14 days and get back everything you paid. To back out, email support@ggspeak.app.
- The launch price is only in Brazil. Outside Brazil, GG+ costs the same from day one, in any country.
- All in writing in the Terms of Use (in Portuguese), sections 8 to 12.
Where to subscribe
In the app, on your computer: open Settings · GG+ or the Store. Payment opens in your browser, on a Stripe page, and GG+ shows up in the app when it’s done.
FAQ
Is GGspeak going to stop being free?
No. Voice, chat and moderation are never paid: voice quality, ping and moderation tools are the same with or without a plan. GG+ is optional.
What’s the difference between GG+ and an HQ?
GG+ is yours and works in any community. The HQ belongs to the community: it levels up with boosts from members and makes the community better for everyone in it. GG+ comes with 1 boost for you to give to one of your communities.
What happens to my sounds if I cancel?
They’re kept behind a lock and come back if you subscribe again. Your banner and nickname color are kept too.
Can I give GG+ to a friend?
Subscribers get 3 passes a month. Each pass gives a friend 7 days of GG+ for free, and it ends on its own, never turning into a charge. Unused passes don’t carry over to the next month.
Does 1080p work on any PC?
On Windows, 1080p needs your graphics card’s video encoder; without it, the stream goes out at 720p and the app lets you know. On Linux, streams still go out at 720p.
How much is it in Brazil?
In Brazil, GG+ is charged in reais: R$ 19,90 a month, with a launch price of R$ 9,90 for the first 1,000 subscriptions there.
