This is what the channel sees when ana.lu shares their screen: the stream opens over the chat, and the call keeps going.

How it works

The stream happens in the same channel you’re already talking in. Nobody opens another app or sends a stream link.

  1. Join the channel

Open your squad’s invite or pick a channel in your community. Anyone without the app downloads it from the invite page and lands right in the channel.

  2. Pick what to show

The game, any window or your whole screen. Your PC’s sound comes along, so the channel hears the game with you.

  3. The channel watches

Everyone in the call sees your screen instantly. Want to show something else? Switch what you’re streaming without stopping.

Made for showing games.

Stay in the call

Voice stays in the same channel. You talk, stream and hear your squad all at once.

With your PC’s sound

The channel hears the game with you: footsteps behind the wall, the menu music, the clip you want to show.

Switch without stopping

Alt-tabbed out to show a build in your browser? Switch windows, and the stream keeps going.

Light, even while streaming

In a call, GGspeak uses up to 25 MB of RAM. Even while streaming, it stays at least 10x lighter than Discord. The rest stays with your game.

FAQ

Can I share just one window?

Yes. Pick the game, any open window or your whole screen, and switch what you’re showing without stopping the stream.

Does the game sound come through?

Yes. The stream carries your PC’s sound, so the channel hears what you hear.

How many people can watch?

Up to 10 people at once, at 720p. 1080p comes with GG+ or with the community’s HQ.

Do I have to pay to stream?

No. Streaming is free, at 720p and for up to 10 viewers. 1080p comes with GG+, for your streams in any community, or with the community’s HQ 1. Pricing is at ggspeak.app/en/pricing.

Can I watch and play at the same time?

Yes. Left the call to play or check the chat? The stream follows you in a mini-player on top of everything, which you can drag and resize without taking focus from your game.

Does it work on Linux and Mac?

On Linux, yes: you can stream and watch, on X11 and Wayland, with your game’s sound (at 720p for now). On the Mac, the test build doesn’t have screen sharing yet.

Will it slow down my game?

Barely. In a call, GGspeak uses up to 25 MB of RAM, and even while streaming it stays at least 10 times lighter than Discord. It sits in the tray and doesn’t run a browser under the hood.
